Bob Woodruff returned on the ABC News studios for a surprise stop by at his colleagues, the first since he was injured in the roadside bombing attack in January while within the war in Iraq. With wife Lee by his side, Woodruff was greeted by way of a spontaneous round of applause. "You could literally understand the emotion in each hug. There was barely a dry eye," based on World News Tonight executive producer Joe Banner. Woodruff, recovering from head injuries and broken bones, appeared energetic and thrilled being among friends tomorrow. "I missed all of you," said Woodruff. "I wakened in the hospital and researched and simply thought about everyone and I thought about everything I wanted badly another to. Man, it's great to get here." His doctors have called him lucky to get survived his injuries, not to mention have recovered so well from their store. His wife Lee has mentioned that his healing has also been helped when you are surrounded by loving people.


Shadow reached the shelter in February, and volunteer Madi took a favored "liking" to him. She loved his deep soulful eyes, how he loved to become brushed and just how he used a squeaky, yellow football toy. She noticed what sort of toll to be locked away in a very kennel had brought down Shadow's spirits and just how no-one expressed an interest in adopting him. That's half our shelter space!"
